With panoramic views across the Great Rift Valley and the Lakes Oloidien and Naivasha is Kiangazi House, a luxury safari lodge. A sprawling ranch house there are seven beautifully decorated en suite bedrooms. Guests can go on game drives, sundowners, lake-side breakfasts, walks, flower farm visits as well as playing tennis or relaxing by the pool.
Why do We Love Kiangazi House?
We LOVE Kiangazi because it’s the perfect getaway for families. The house is lovely, the rooms are spacious and attractive and the staff are amazing (yummy food too). The activities are really what it’s all about though, when they organise an incredible sundowner for you, the kids get supper and marshmallows to cook on the fire. Walk to the beautiful lake-shore for a delicious breakfast and go on an amazing boat ride around the lake shore…. Etc.
Kiangazi House Facts
7 rooms, 3 inside the main house and the rest adjacent. The rooms are split between Superior rooms (4) and Deluxe rooms (3) which feature mini bars. All rooms have baths and tea/ coffee stations.
Fauna & Flora
The house has a private deck overlooking a waterhole, where a multitude of wildlife come to drink. Activities are conducted both along the lakeshore and within our private wildlife sanctuary. The area is home to over 50 species of mammal including Aardvark, Leopard, Grevy’s Zebra, Kongoni and many species of plains and woodland mammals. The area is prolific with birdlife and the currently tally is over 400 species in the area!
Seasons & weather
Kiangazi House is open all year round. Even in summer (October – May) the evenings and the mornings are chilly. Early mornings frequently feature mist hanging in the valleys before it heats up and everything clears.
Communication & Electricity
All major phone networks are available at Kiangazi House and there is wifi in the main area. Electricity is provided via our own geo-thermal power plant with back-up generators, just in case.
Families and groups, as well as honeymoon couples. The house lends itself to a very family orientated atmosphere and, due to the size, is very easy for a family to book the entire property.
